Father Francisco has been serving as a priest in Peñasco for the past two years, at the nearby Sagrado Corazón (Sacred Heart) parish. He is also on the board of our non profit Sagrado Corazón Assisted Living, and we are blessed by much support from his church.
Father Francisco's commitment to transparency has been a cornerstone of his leadership. He understands that for the community to fully support the facility, they need to understand its financial health and how their support impacts the residents that they care about. Through regular updates and open communication, he is ensuring that community members are aware of how their efforts are shaping and sustaining this cherished institution.
After the challenges brought by the pandemic Father Francisco along with Gesus and Angela, the 2 other members of our board, want to do more than just maintain the status quo; they seek to revitalize the facility, ensuring that it remains a beacon of care and compassion for years to come. This means seeking out creative ways to connect with community members and make physical improvements to the facility as well as supporting the staff and residents in every way possible.
We as an organization are so appreciative of Father Francisco's transparency with the community and his genuine care for each and every one of our residents as well as our staff. We are inspired by Father Francisco's dedication and commitment to serving others. He has been a welcome addition to our leadership and we are excited to see how his support helps us transform as we look to the future.
